Montanna just got back from her 15 month check up. The appointment was at 8:00 and so getting this little girl to wake up this morning was a little bit of a struggle. She loves her sleep! She weighed in at 20 lbs 8 oz. which is still in the 10%. I guess I have been letting her drink too much water? She has become a little bit more picky about what she eats, but is still eating a wide variety of food. The doctor suggested letting her have some juice and more milk. Hopefully I'll get it all figured out sooner or later. She did gain about a pound since last time, so at least she is gaining and not losing! She was in the 70% for her height at 31 inches! She received her MMR, Hib, and Flu shot so she is set for another couple months. She was such a brave girl and got her shots in her arms for the first time. She cried while she got the shots, but was fine as soon as it was all over. What a brave little trooper!

Grandma and Bapa visit AZ
New words for Montanna this week are:
"Than Tooo" - Thank you
"Laaa joo" - Love you
"Bree Bree" - Britney (yes, Brit, I've been practicing with her!)
She is getting to have quite the vocabulary and is able to repeat almost any word you say to her. There are a couple consonants she hasn't wuite figured out yet, but she is doing such a good job!

My little helper :)
Montanna has been having fun helping me go through drawers packing and sorting all of our different items. She loves the dresser drawers. In the kitchen we have a cabinet used to have kitchen appliances that have been put in boxes and packed up. Montanna loves to shut herself in the cabinet and play peek-a-boo with us. She is such a fun little girl!!!!

100th Post
Well, it has taken me a little over a year, but I am finally posting my 100th post. I guess this is the perfect time to announce that we are moving from Phoenix to Colorado. It has been an interesting summer trying to sell our house and being in a state of limbo and trying to figure out what was going to be best for us and our family. For now, we feel good about our decision and hope that things will fall into place for us once we move to Colorado. We will be living in Elizabeth for a while, which is half way between Denver and Colorado Springs. Adam will be looking for work in either city. There must be something waiting for us there.
We have loved living in Phoenix and making so many friends and living in a great ward. We still have family down here and know we will be visiting, but it is a bitter-sweet feeling to finally have some direction in our life, but having to say goodbye to so much that we love. We are looking forward to getting out of the heat. Neither Adam or I grew up in the heat, in fact, both of us grew up in the Flathead Valley in Montana and we are excited to be able to see the leaves change color and to play in the snow, especially go skiing! But we will miss the incredible weather here December - March.
I am so glad that we have blogs and facebook to stay in touch with all of you! As for our plans, Adam's last day of work is September 25, and we are planning on packing up a truck in the days that follow and drive up to Colorado. We hope to be there and start getting settled by the beginning of October. We have lots to do, but we will keep you updated. I am better at posting pictures than actual blogging, so I will make sure you know what is going on in our lives through pictures. We will miss all of you Phoenicians!
