The snow fairy has visited...

The girls have been patiently waiting for snow to fall for weeks now. Montanna knew snow had come twice to Gran already this year and she thought it was our turn. We were so surprised when we looked out the window yesterday morning and saw the snow covered ground. I love the look of freshly fallen snow. It is so pretty and white before anything else has time to touch it.
This was the view outside our living room window.

Montanna loving the fact that we are outside playing in the snow. We made footprints all over the yard, snow angels, and had a snowball fight!

Eden was also excited as she was following Montanna around saying "Hooray, Hooray!"

Halloween.... Meow!

 Little Leopard

Little Lion was trying to smile while she watched kids get candy and she had to stand still!

We took the girls to the Halloween Carnival put on by the University of Montana Western. It was totally geared towards little kids and was perfect for the girls. They had fun playing the games, eating candy and dressing up. They had a fun night.

Grandma and Papa

We always have fun when we get to go to Bigfork and visit Grandma and Papa. It has been so nice that we have been a little bit closer and have been able to visit more often. I can't believe that I went 9 months without seeing Mom last year! We have been able to take some but trips and enjoy how beautiful Bigfork is in the summer and fall.
Montanna and Eden love snuggling up in Papa and Grandma's bed and watching cartoons. They spoil them with letting them watch tv while they take a bath and they come out squeaky clean because they don't want to get out.

Papa carved pumpkins for the girls and they got to tell him if they wanted a happy face or a scary face. Montanna wanted a scary face and Eden's was happy.

Montanna helping Papa do his back exercises.

I may need to cut Eden's bangs. :)

Great Grandma with Montanna and Eden.

Montanna climbed a tree in the backyard. We watched the squirrels, chipmonks and birds that live in the yard. Montanna and Eden had fun throwing seeds to all the animals and then coming in and watching them from the kitchen window.

I think there was something up in her tree.

Eden's turn for a photo shoot.

By baby girl is getting so big! She is now as old as Montanna was when she was born! That is so crazy to me.

My two girlies.

Me, trying out short hair. What do you think?

Hiking in Harry Horn Park

Montanna and Eden both love rocks. Here Montanna is showing me a pretty one she found.

We had such a fun trip, but we are always excited to pick up Daddy from the airport and see him again. We miss him on these trips.

Catch up

October was a busy month for us. It seems like summer flew by and now fall is flying by as well. My girls are getting bigger and having so much fun together. I really wish I could bottle up some of their sweetness and take it with me because I know this is not going to last forever. For the most part, Eden and Montanna play really well together and are entertained by each other and the things around them, but they have started the sibling bickering and I have to remind them that they love each other and to be nice. :) Then they hug each other over and over and say "I love you" and we practically have to break them apart. It's fun to watch them learn and grow.
Eden is talking more and more. I understand most of what she says, but I don't know how many other people can. SHe starts to say the beginning of words and then stops after the first sylable, but she will try to say almost anything you ask her to say and it comes out close. She can count to 10 by the even numbers. I say 1 and she says 2 and we keep going up until 10 when we finish by saying "Hooray"!
Montanna is loving preschool and she brought home a sheet today where we get to practice letter Bb. She is in charge of snacks next week and they are studying the letter Dd and the color green. If anyone has a fun snack idea that revolves around Dd and Green, let me know. We can bring in anything homemade or store bought it just can't have nuts because there is a kid with a nut allergy.
Life is Fun!
Here is a picture of the piggy cookies Montanna and her friend Savanna helped me make. We had fun and they tasted so good. They are a peppermint sugar cookie.

Montanna and Eden posing on the tractor. They love tractors!

Here are the girls petting Connie, she used to be our little border collie, but she went to live with Rowdy since his Daddy needed a new cow dog. We went and visited her on Sunday and she likes her new home.

It has cooled down quite a bit here in Dillon. We haven't had any snow yet, but the temperatures are dropping and I am sure we will get some soon. We can see snow on the mountain peaks around here.

This was a hot chocolate morning.
