Happy Birthday Hillary!

Since yesterday was my sister-in-law Hillary's birthday I had the special privilege of watching my adorable niece Darby. We had such a fun day together. Darby loves Montanna and plays so well with her. It really was fun to watch the two of them together. We had a fun day of playing with toys, watching Annie, playing in the park, taking a bath, eating dinner and then having cupcakes and ice cream with Frank and Hillary when they came to pick her up.

Aren't they cute! I have a cupcake book that has so many fun ideas. They were so much fun to make. Now I just need to decide what I am going to do for Montanna's birthday. I know, I know... I still have 5 more months so figure it out.

I also took Montanna back to the doctor today since she has been fighting a cold and an ear infection. She still has the ear infection and we are going to have to use some stronger ear drops to get rid of it this time and since she is teething, her nose is still running constantly. We are going to have to be mean parents and give her baby nose spray and benadryl to take care of it. I HATE nose spray and so I feel bad that I am going to have to make her have it, but that is what the doctor wants us to do. Today is her 7 month birthday and she weighed in at 18 lbs even at the doctor's office today. She is getting so big!

Wonder Woman

Before Montanna was born I received a box in the mail stuffed with baby items. I opened the box and saw all of the adorable things my mom had sent and then found out that almost everything she sent was things that I had worn as a baby. That has made dressing Montanna so much more fun. I can put her in things that were once mine and I can save them so she can have them someday too.

Here are some pictures of Montanna wearing my Wonder Woman shoes. The shoes fit perfectly. I really think that they made baby shoes better 26 years ago because I don't have any shoes for Montanna that fit as well as these do. She loved looking at them all through the day and she loved to stand while she was wearing them.

Thank you mom, for doing such a good job saving and taking care of these things.

Two Little Teeth

Montanna has been working on growing two little teeth the last three weeks and they are finally big enough to get a picture of. She looks so big with her teeth! They have been making her crankier than usual. Although, I didn't notice her crankiness until the last couple days so maybe she just doesn't like them there, or....she is already working on her top teeth. I don't know. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Standing Practice

We have found that Montanna can stand up all by herself on the side of her crib. Thank goodness she can't pull herself up there yet, but I know that is coming soon. She thinks it is so fun to stand there all alone.
