Easter

Wow, a lot has happened in the last couple weeks. First of all, we are finally all moved in. We started our trek to Dillon on Sunday April 10 and it took us about 12 hours to get to Ogden, Utah. We were glad when that first day of driving was all over and we were excited that we got to see Lesley and Aubrey for a little while that night. We stayed in a hotel and got up early and got back on the road to Dillon. We were glad that we had done the long drive the first day because the girls were getting pretty sick of the car by the time we got there.
It took us about a week, but we found a place for most things. We had to take a few doors off in order to get our couches in and everything where it belongs. It made me realize how much work it is to move and I hope we won't be doing it again too soon. We enjoyed the year an a half we were able to stay with Gran and Grandpa and Britney. It is a special time that we can't and wouldn't want to take back, but it is so fun to be on our own again in our own little house with our own little family.
Montanna has loved being here on the ranch. She gets so excited over all the animals and new things she gets to see each day. She has seen a lot in the couple weeks we have been here. One of the most exciting things is Rowdy's pony had a baby. She has been staying here in Dillon because it is still a little bit cold and there is a little too much snow for her up in Wisdom. It was lucky for us because we got to see the little foal when it was about 12 hours old. It is so cute and came up and licked Montanna's hand. She was in love!
Grandpa Bob and Grandma Phillis have a little Shetland pony that stays here and she took her first ride on a pony. The sheep are almost finished having their lambs and there are baby lambs in the barn right now. There are quite a few that are put together because some of the sheep had triplets and even quadruplets this year and they don't have enough milk to provide for all of those lambs and so the extras have been put in a pen and Montanna loves going in and talking to them and petting them and laughing when they stick out their tongues and bleet at her. She is turning into a little farm girl.
WE have been battling sickness since we got here and we are hoping the end is in sight now. Adam and I had food poisoning or some kind of stomach bug a couple days after we got here. That was miserable. Montanna has been throwing up since Friday and today was the first day since that we haven't had any vomiting. Thank goodness. I feel like we have been doing laundry round the clock. At least everything is really clean.
Easter was interesting since we were all sick. Eden was the one to throw up at the dinner table at family dinner on Saturday night. We were not impressed and Eden and I went right home since we both needed a bath. We are hoping that Grandma, Grandpa, Lukrisha, Danny, Rowdy, Belinda, Tanea, and Emma don't get the sickness. I think we all would have just stayed home for Easter if we hadn't just moved and wanted to see everyone that was visiting. Sunday's dinner was going along well until Adam decided to "make" Montanna take a bite of her dinner and then she was the one who threw up at the dinner table. She got a bath mid dinner and came back upstairs and ate a big bowl of ice cream. Thank goodness everyone was a good sport because activity like that can really ruin your appetite. Now Adam and I are battling colds that we are praying don't get passed to the girls. Adam can hardly talk and when he does talk it is so raspy and quiet you can hardly hear him. What a couple weeks!
We are excited for our new ward. Even though we have only been once it seems like it will be a fun ward to be in. Montanna has several kids in her nursery class and came home and told us she was going to love us a lesson. She sat down on a box and told us we needed to sit down for the lesson. She told us that Horses and Heavenly Father will always love you. That was her lesson and then it was time for singing time. We figured it was a good lesson and you probably wouldn't get one quite like it in any other place than Dillon, Montana. We are excited to be here and will update more often and post some pictures soon of our new surroundings and adventures.
