I can't, can't believe Montanna is already 3 years old! She has had a great month of birthdays and was able to spend her "real" birthday in Bigfork with Grandma and Papa. We spent the week up there while Adam was working in NYC and far away. It was bummer not to have Daddy there fir her birthday, but that just meant that she got another little birthday party and more presents last night. Seriously, she has had so many parties, cakes and ice cream cones and she loves the fire in them and being sung to over and over again.
Montanna has grown up so much this last year,. Physically she is much taller than she was last year as her pants were getting shorter and shorter and the arms of her shirts higher and higher. We love all of the new clothes she was given for her birthday and looks like such a grown up little girl. Her conversations have become more complex and she has started the "why" phase. She asks why for everything. It is goot that she is inquisitive and curious, but sometimes it gets to be a little bit much.
She is an amazing big sister to Eden. She is very protective of her and loves to play with her. I love that they play so well together now. They laugh and giggle and fight and cry, but they love each other so much. She still is a little rough every once in a while, but is learning her boundaries and what is fun for Eden and what isn't.
Montanna loves animals. We have some little border collie puppies here that are about 7 months old and they get so excited when they see Montanna that they tip her over and lick her face. It scares her to death, but she wants to see those puppies all the time. She keeps going back for more and more. A normal little kid would want to stay as far away from those animals as possible, but she just loves them. She must have got that gene from her Dad. I loved animals and growing up on a farm, but not to the extent of Adam and Montanna. I wouldn't be surprised if she did something with animals someday. Although she says she wants to be a doctor when she grows up so she can help people with bad coughs.
Montanna is learning new words and theor meanings every day. Sometimes she gets things a little mixed up, but other times she sounds really intelligent for a little 3 year old. Sge was talking to Adam the other day and said, " Daddy why are you all wet? Adam said, "Because it was raining outside and I forgot my coat." and she said" You look horrendous!"
We have been having a little bit of trouble with Eden and so she has heard the word "constipated" said around our house. When we aren't doing or saying something she likes she will look at us and say," Daddy, you aren't very constipated right now." It has made us laugh a couple times now.
Montanna got a bucket of letters for her birthday and is starting to learn her letters and still loves to read books all the time. She LOVES TV and would watch it all the time if we let her. I have had to limit her time in front of the screen and most days she gets to watch a movie while I am doing something, but I am so glad that we don't have regular tv at our house. I really think it would be a problem. She loved visiting Grandma and Papa though and watching TV at Bull Creek and Aunt Belynda's house.
She loves to be in the kitchen with me and is very good at helping me bake and cook things She likes to dump in whatever needs to go in the mixer and loves to roll out bread or rolls. She often does this when she is playing and will pretend to be baking rolls. I can tell she is going to be a good kitchen helper.
Montanna still needs lots of sleep and is so much happier when she takes a nap and gets some good rest. Eden almost always is the first to wake up from a nap and in the morning. She loves to be outside and explore and her favorite thing to do right now is find poofy dandelions to blow all over the place. She is our amazing little girl who is growing up way too fast. We love her so much and are so glad that she is a part of our family, We don't know what we would do without her.
We love you so much Montanna! Happy 3rd Birthday!

Birthday Month for Montanna
This is just a sneak peek at Montanna's birthday this year. Montanna's birthday isn't until June 23rd but she has some cousins who had birthdays on the 11th and 13th of this month as well and so we had a combined birthday party for the three of them last Saturday. This is the cake I made for Montanna. We had so much fun making it and she loved blowing out the candles. Rowdy had a Thomas the Train cake and she still talks about that as well. I have more pictures of the party that I will post later. I can't believe Montanna is going to be 3 in just a few days! Crazy!
She's walking!
Look who started to walk.... finally! She started to really walk just three days before she turned 15 months! She thinks she is such a big girl and walks everywhere with a huge smile on her face. It is amazing how this has changed my perception of her. She is not a little baby anymore, but a walking toddler. She still likes to come and snuggle with her mommy and give big hugs and kisses, but she loves this new found independence and freedom. Eden has really grown in so many ways the last couple months. She has found a new love for books and will sit on my lap and let me read them to herbut I will also find her sitting in a corner looking at a book and babbling as she "reads" them to herself. She is getting to have a few more words in her vocabulary. She can say: Papa, Pup Pup, "Night , Night", Bye, Mama, Dada, Bubble, hot, no, milk, more, and if she just doesn't feel like talking she will shake or nod her head in response to our questions.
Eden is a climber and an acrobat. She sits in what looks like the most uncomfortable positions but she is completely comfortable. She can do the splits and climbs on anything she can get up on. Most of the time I will find her sitting on top of one of the living room chairs looking out the window to see what's going on outside.
She has started to love talking on the phone and will grab my phone whenever it is available and jabber on it even when there is no one on the other line. She has also become more animated with the people she talks to on Skype.
When we moved to Dillon, Eden was so scared of any animal she came in contact with and now she gets excited when she sees them. Most of them, she still wants to observe from a little bit of distance, but we caught her under the table petting "Dante" who is Grandpa Bob and Grandma Phillis's dog on Sunday when they came over. She is getting to be a little more adventurous. We love our little bug and are so lucky to have her as part of the family.
