Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! We celebrated with our Valentine Cookies again this year and had Brynlee, Emily and Lauren over to join in the fun. The kids had fun decorating and everyone had their very own HUGE cookie when we were finished. Moms and Dads included. We love this Valentine tradition!

Snow Day

Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert

On our way down to Colorado for Christmas, we stopped in Ogden for the night. Lesley and Cameron had been able to get 4 tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. They invited Adam and I to go with them. I was so excited and couldn't wait to go and then.... Adam got called away last minute on a business trip and I made the trip down to Colorado with the girls by myself. Lesley and Cameron and I went to the concert without Adam and they didn't mind that I was the third wheel for the night. I decided beforehand that I wasn't going to cry during the concert but the story that was told in the middle of the concert was amazing and of course everyone in the audience was crying. I will go to this special concert every chance I get! Thanks Lesley and Cameron for such a fun night out on the town and for Cameron's parents who watched Montanna, Eden and Aubrey while we were gone.

Activity Day

It has been so cold outside recently and we have had colds so we've been staying inside and out of the freezing weather. This is an idea I found on pinterest and my girls loved it! We got a shower liner from the Dollar Tree and I drew a village on it. Since we only have girly girls here we did not own any cars and so again from the Dollar Store I was able to get three cars for a dollar and then we had a play mat for the girls to play on. We waited until Brynlee and Emily came over to try it out. Because the shower liner was a little bit textured the girls were able to color on it with crayons and markers. We stuck with crayons and played with the cars. I didn't get any pictures while Brynlee and Emily were here, but we got the mat out again today and I snapped a couple pictures of the girls playing. I highly suggest this activity. They loved it!
Here is the mat before the girls had seen it.
