It was the hottest day of the summer so far yesterday (93 degrees) and we took advantage of the sunny weather and got our the blow-up sprinkler. We LOVE that Lauren is so close and we were able to put together a little get-together on short notice. These girls had fun running through the sprinkler, and filling up cups and dumping them on each other. Lauren and I got a little wet too. I think that made it even more fun for the girls. They loved targeting us and dumping the couple drops of water they were able to put in their cups. The swim suits were in the washing machine, so my girls got a t-shirt. It was the perfect way spend a hot hour in the afternoon.

Montanna's "Real" Birthday
Montanna's "real" Birthday this year was so much fun. We had a birthday party earlier in the week and so she kept talking about everything she wanted to do on her "real" birthday. She had quite the list by the time the day rolled around. We started the day with traditional Monkey Bread breakfast topped with 4 candles! 4 candles!!!! She opened her presents at breakfast and was so excited by all the fun things she was able to open. She can't wait to have fun with each and every present she received. Here are a few pictures of the breakfast festivities.

Bracelet and ring from Gran and Grandpa
Eden got in on the action and was able to open a couple presents of her own.
Montanna LOVES puzzles! SHe got 2 from Grandma and Papa earlier this month and loves putting the new puzzles together and she got a HUGE puzzle from Gran and Grandpa. Here she is holding up one of the pieces. We had fun putting this new puzzle together right after breakfast was over.
Then......
We went swimming and sliding and floating at Rexburg Rapids! The girls were so excited to go play at such a fun, kid-friendly water park. Adam and I had a great time too. We wore the girls out and both fell asleep on the way home after a stop at McDonalds for a birthday ice cream cone.
Eden was tireless going up and down slides over and over even though she was freezing and got so tired towards the end. We took several trips back to the towels to warm up. We knew it was time to warm up when both girls had purple lips. It was almost 90 degrees but the cool water splashing on them with a little bit of wind made them a little chilly. WE all came home with a little bit of a sunburn even though we used sunscreen.

We all had such a fun day. It was the perfect day! Happy Birthday Montanna! We love you so much!!!!

It's birthday time!
It's the start of Montanna's Birthday Week! Montanna and her cousin Brynlee have birthdays only 1 day apart. Brynlee's birthday is on Friday and Montanna's is on Saturday! Brian, Lauren and Brynlee are going to a family reunion this weekend and so we had an early birthday party. Lauren and I had an all day cake making party while the girls had fun playing and entertaining each other. They also had lots of tastes of all the cake making goodies. It was a fun, busy day!

Montanna blowing out 4 candles! Can you believe she's going to be 4?! Time is just a flyin'!
Bryn wasn't sure about blowing out her candles but after a couple tries she got it with the help of her mom. She was so excited when she finally blew them out!

Swim Day!
We were given this little wading pool from Uncle Ben and Aunt Linda Lee this summer and it was so hot on Monday afternoon that we were so glad we had it. The girls had so much fun splashing around, getting dirty, getting the water dirty, filling cups and just playing around. I was splashed several times and they thought it was so funny to get me wet while I was reading my book enjoying the warm sun. We had such a fun afternoon. Unfortunately the rest of the week was not nearly as sunny and nice and they have been asking for their swimming pool every other day this week. It's a good thing next week looks like a good weather week. :)
The water was a little cold at first for Eden. You can see the shock on her face. ;)
Playing in the water.
Montanna kept saying she couldn't get her hair wet because it looked too pretty that day. She is right, it does look good, that morning she had asked Adam to do her hair and apparently she didn't want to mess up his work. Curly with "no barrette" is her favorite hair style right now.

Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day Weekend was so much fun this year! My entire family, (minus Ben, we missed you!), came to Idaho Falls to visit. We had all 8 grand kids together for the first time ever and they had so much fun!
A picture of all 8 kids. They were eating dinner waiting for grandma and papa to get there. Montanna is the oldest and will be 4 in just a few weeks. The 6 older ones played so well together and the other two will next time when they are a little older.

Grandma and Eden
Blowing Bubbles! Grandma and Papa brought bubbles for everyone. It stopped raining for a few minutes so we could go outside and blow bubbles. Papa could blow huge bubbles and all the kids tried to pop them.
Bubbles everywhere

Lesley and her daughter Aubrey

Me and Lesley
Aubrey learned how to pedal and was testing out Montanna's bike.
Since it was raining and too wet and cold to play outside we went to McDonalds and played in the playland and ate ice cream cones.
Brynlee and Aubrey. Yum!
Lydia , Eli and Linda Lee
Papa and Lydia
Aubrey enjoyed McDonalds from the bottom of the playland. Lesley took her through one time and she HATED it. She did not like it at all and was crying for a while after she went through. Now she knows what it is like and I don't know if she will go through again. That's probably okay though because we were all washing our hands with wipes and hand sanitizer. Not the cleanest place in the world. :)
Bryn loved the slide and went down all by herself several times.
Papa and Eli
Grandma and Eli went through the playland together. Papa and Grandma each took several trips through.
We got all the coloring books out and I think the adults liked coloring more than the kids. Dad colored a Jungle Book picture. Eventually the kids joined in.

It was chilly. This is a picture of the first fire in our fireplace.
Papa and Grandma each had an iPad. The kids loved playing games and watching movies with Papa.
Visiting in the living room
Fingernail painting party. Even Eli got in on the action and got a fingernail and a toe painted.
Montanna and Brynlee both have birthday's coming up on June 22 and June 23 and so we had a little birthday party. Both of them loved opening the presents from grandma and papa.
We had such a fun visit with everyone. Anyone and everyone is always welcome at our home. We love visiters!
