Christmas Tree

We finally set up our Christmas Tree and decorations this morning. Montanna and Eden we're so excited and decorated most of the tree while I watched them and fed Rueger. We love Christmas and can't wait for Daddy to come home on Friday and celebrate Christmas this coming week. Merry Christmas!

Two months!

Honestly! Can YOU believe it's been two months since this little guy was born? I can't either, but he is such a blessing to us. Rueger's sisters love him so much and show him daily how much they adore him. If Rueger is awake, Eden is by his side. She can't wait until he can play with her. She keeps telling me that she will have so much fun playing with Rueger when Montanna's in school as soon as he gets a little bit bigger, but she loves that he is a tiny little baby right now and is so good at playing Momma to her little baby Duke. Duke goes back and forth from being a girl to a boy daily and right now he has a cute little pink dress on, so I'm guessing he's a she today. Montanna also loves Rueger, but she is more amused by his facial expressions and sounds he makes. She is constantly giggling because of something he has done.

Rueger had his two month check up on his two month birthday and got two legs full of shots. He took them like a man and only cried for a few seconds, but those few second always break my heart. You could tell that all that medicine took a lot out of him and he slept almost constantly for the next 24 hours only waking up when he really needed to eat. He is now back to his normal self. I wish there was a better way to give those shots and I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding them, but I feel so much better knowing he is on his way to being protected from some horrible sicknesses.

Rueger is growing like champ!

Weight: 11 lbs. 14 oz.
Height: 22 3/4 in.
Head: 15 in.

We can't even remember what life was like without Rueger and we are so glad he is a part of our family.

Big news!

Montanna woke up this morning with a loose tooth! I seriously can't believe that I have a little girl big enough to start losing her teeth. Super exciting things will be happening around this house with the tooth fairy watching. The girls can't wait for this tooth to wiggle free and make it under the pillow so the tooth fairy will make her debut appearance at the Parmenter Home. I am continually reminded of how fast time flies. I can't think about it too hard, just try to enjoy each and every moment I have with these sweet little kids of mine while they are still little and want to spend all their time with me. I am so lucky to have such sweet spirits in our house and hope I can do everything I can to teach them the things they need to know. Such a big responsibility.
