Family and Babies

We were so lucky to have Ben and Linda Lee's family here in Idaho Falls for about a month while Ben was in the middle of job transfers. We had so much fun with them while they were here and of course, I didn't get very many pictures. I seriously need to get better at taking pictures. We miss them so much now that they are in Casper, WY. Montanna and Eden loved having Lydia and Eli close for a while. Montanna and Eli are both very into horses and so you could find them playing horse most of the time they were together and Eden and Lydia liked playing dress-up, pretend playing and dancing. They are included in Montanna and Eden's daily prayers at almost every meal as well as bedtime prayers. They hope they are liking their new house and hope they can visit soon.

Here is a picture of all three babies. Anna is the oldest, born August 20, Logan is next, born September 25, and then Rueger, born October 11. We are just missing little Penny in the picture. She was born December 9. These babies will have just as much fun as their older cousins as they get bigger. They didn't pay much attention to each other while they were here. This is a really cute picture of them though.

Adam had a pair of chaps that has been in our storage since he was a little boy and he dug them out once he saw what a little cowboy Eli was. Eli loves the movies "Man From Snowy River and Return to Snowy River" and he likes to pretend he is Jim Craig. This completed his image and he wanted to wear the cowboy pants and hat every time he came over to play.

The cute view from behind.

Anna was the most mobile of the babies and she is so strong. It was fun to see her and hold her while she was still little.

Rueger laughing at me.

Rueger talking to Montanna. I know I have said this before, but he is such a talker. He coos and babbles more than any baby we have ever had.

He is also so happy most of the time.

Montanna and Eden have both had special stuffed animals that they sleep with at night. Montanna actually has two that she still sleeps with. One is Wally. Wally is a monkey that used to be mine when I was little. He was very loved when he lived with me as a kid and you can tell just by looking at him that he's been through a lot, but Montanna still sleeps with him and her cat named, Meow. Eden has a monkey named Duke that she rarely lets out of her sight and Adam picked out Rueger's special animal before he was born. Hopefully he likes it as much as Adam wants him to. Adam named this little Rottweiler Puppy, Cochise.

Montanna's First Real Haircut

If you remember a previous post, Montanna decided to give herself a little haircut on her birthday last year. Since then, the chunk she cut off has grown back in and you can't really tell that it happened, but she has decided that she doesn't always like her curly, adorable locks and wants to straighten them. Since she had never had her hair cut the ends were a little scraggly and so we went in to the Vogue Beauty School here in Idaho Falls and she felt so grown up as she got her first hair cut.
She is trying not to smile in this first picture. :)
She sat so still and let the hairdresser comb and trim her hair.
Another action shot
The finished product. She felt like Rupunzel from Tangled since her hair was so much longer straight than it is when it's curly. AAhhh! My girl is getting so big! Eden was officially jealous and so we'll make sure she gets her turn sometime soon too. Gran told her she could have a special trim when we come visit.

My Happy Rueger

4 Months

Here is a picture of Rueger sitting with his daddy. He thinks he's a big boy! At 4 months Rueger went in and got a whole bunch of shots again, poor boy. Here are his 4 Month stats:

Weight: 15 lbs 7 oz - 52%
Height: 25.5 inches - 70%
Head: 16.25 inches - 41%

He is growing too fast. It's hard to remember how small he was when we first brought him home because he grows more every day. He is such a happy baby, always smiling and talks more than both Montanna and Eden ever did. He is our little talker and his sisters adore him.

Christmas 2013

Here is a picture of our house on Christmas Eve. There is always so much excitement that comes with Christmas. This year was so much fun.
My mom and dad, brother and sister all got together right after Christmas this year. We missed Lesley and her family in California but we were glad we were able to have a fun weekend together. One of the days we went and played at Blast Off and here are a few pictures of the kids playing on the playground. These kids always have so much fun when they get together, especially now that they are a little older. They are so lucky to have so many cousins close in age. It was one big party. There were 9 out of the 12 grand kids here together.

Snowy Days

We had a few days where we had quite a bit of new snow and Montanna and Eden were so excited that there was snow on the ground and they wanted to build a snowman. It seems like more often than not, the snow is not the right consistency for snowmen, but Adam being the  good dad like he is, took the girls outside and tried to make a snowman with them while I stayed inside and took care of Rueger.

For New Years we went up to Salmon for a few days. We took the girls out on the snowmobiles  one night to make sure they were running properly before we took them up to Wisdom the next day to spend the day with Danny, Lu, Rowdy and Rafe'. Once again I didn't take enough pictures, but here are a few cute ones.
