Montanna's "Real" Birthday

Montanna's "real" Birthday this year was so much fun. We had a birthday party earlier in the week and so she kept talking about everything she wanted to do on her "real" birthday. She had quite the list by the time the day rolled around. We started the day with traditional Monkey Bread breakfast topped with 4 candles! 4 candles!!!! She opened her presents at breakfast and was so excited by all the fun things she was able to open. She can't wait to have fun with each and every present she received. Eden got in on the action and was able to open a couple presents of her own.

Montanna LOVES puzzles! SHe got 2 from Grandma and Papa earlier this month and loves putting the new puzzles together and she got a HUGE puzzle from Gran and Grandpa. Here she is holding up one of the pieces. We had fun putting this new puzzle together right after breakfast was over. 

Then......

We went swimming and sliding and floating at Rexburg Rapids! The girls were so excited to go play at such a fun, kid-friendly water park. Adam and I had a great time too. We wore the girls out and both fell asleep on the way home after a stop at McDonalds for a birthday ice cream cone. 

Eden was tireless going up and down slides over and over even though she was freezing and got so tired towards the end.  We took several trips back to the towels to warm up. We knew it was time to warm up when both girls had purple lips. It was  almost 90 degrees but the cool water splashing on them with a little bit of wind made them a little chilly. WE all came home with a little bit of a sunburn even though we used sunscreen.

We all had such a fun day. It was the perfect day! Happy Birthday Montanna! We love you so much!!!!
